A Relaxed Stay for Two in Rhosneigr
Felin Traeth Cottage is a spacious detached cottage in Rhosneigr, Anglesey, available at a reduced occupancy rate for up to two guests. Located beside Rhosneigr railway station and within walking distance of Traeth Crigyll beach, it is a comfortable base for a couples’ break by the coast.
Guests booking for two have use of the cottage’s shared living spaces, kitchen, enclosed garden and first-floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The ground-floor bedroom corridor is locked during your stay and is not included with the reduced occupancy rate.
Rhosneigr is known for its beaches and watersports, with restaurants, pubs, shops, a village hall and library nearby. Anglesey Golf Course is a short walk away and can be seen from the upstairs bedroom. With RAF Valley nearby, guests may also see and hear aircraft flying overhead.

Your En-Suite Double Bedroom
The first-floor bedroom is a spacious room with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a dressing table and sofa. It has a modern en-suite shower room with a double shower.
There is a Smart TV with built-in Freesat and Google Chromecast, should you wish to cast from compatible apps on your phone, laptop or other device.
Kitchen, Dining and Living Spaces
The dining room has a large table with seating for up to eight guests, along with a music centre. Please feel free to bring vinyl, CDs or cassettes, or connect to the rechargeable Bluetooth speaker. There is also a gas fire and an electric infrared wall panel heater.
The modern kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, eye-level double oven, induction hob, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A breakfast table with two high stools sits in the centre of the kitchen.
The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, ceramic sink with cold water supply, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, brush and mop. You will also find picnic items, beach towels, a small chest freezer, which is ideal for raw pet food, and a selection of pet items that may be useful during your stay. Please bring washing detergent if you intend to use the beach towels.
The lounge forms part of the original stone cottage, built around 1850, and has exposed stone wall detail, an Aga multi-fuel stove, Smart TV with built-in Freesat, Google Chromecast, Blu-ray player and a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker.
For arrivals between 1 October and 24 March, a starter pack of smokeless coal and kindling is provided for the multi-fuel stove.
A dedicated work space is set in the lounge alcove, with a desk, work chair, desk lamp and infrared wall panel heater.
The snug has a piano, occasional chair and lamp, offering a quiet place to read or relax.
Enclosed Garden and Optional Hot Tub
The rear entrance leads directly to the large, private enclosed and gated garden. It is a lovely space to relax after a day at the beach or exploring Anglesey.
From 1 April to 23 September, a patio table and eight chairs, two sun loungers, corner sofa and Weber charcoal barbecue are available for guests to use.
The hot tub is located in the rear garden and can be added to your booking for an additional charge. It is cleaned and refilled after every hot tub booking.
Our hot tub maintenance company may need to visit during your stay to check the water’s chemical levels. They will require access to the garden and may ask you not to use the hot tub while these essential checks are carried out.
An outdoor tap with hot and cold water, along with a hosepipe, is also available in the garden.
Please note that the garden furniture and barbecue are not cleaned as part of the changeover clean. We ask guests to clean them before and after use.
What Is Provided for Your Stay
Your bed will be made up with white cotton bedding for your arrival.
White towels are provided as follows:
- One bath sheet and one hand towel per adult
- One bath towel and one hand towel per child
Bedding and towels are not provided for infants.
If you have added the hot tub to your booking, one white bath robe per adult is also provided.
Electricity, oil and gas are included in the rental cost.
Travelling with Your Dog or cat
Up to four house-trained, well-behaved dogs are welcome at Felin Traeth Cottage for an additional charge of £20 per holiday.
The enclosed garden gives dogs space to enjoy being outdoors with you. Please read Kabe and Ruby’s House Rules for Dogs before your stay, so that everyone can enjoy the cottage comfortably.
Cats are welcome to stay by arrangement, our own cat is a regular visitor when we stay.

There is also an electric vehicle charger for guest use. This is a pay-as-you-use service. You will need to download the relevant app and register your payment method, with charging charged per kWh used.
Arrival and Access
There are steps leading to the front entrance. The rear entrance has no steps and leads into the property from the enclosed garden.
Please note that, when booking the reduced occupancy rate for two guests, the door from the snug to the ground-floor bedroom corridor is locked. The ground-floor bedrooms and wet room are not included in this booking option.
Important Information About the Grounds
Within the wider grounds are several ponds, the disused mill, a field, owners’ sheds and an unused static caravan.
These areas are outside the cottage’s rental boundary and are separated by fences, chains, ropes or barriers. For safety, please do not go beyond these boundaries during your stay.
